Where To Brunch In Vienna: Neni am Naschmarkt | Spunkyrella.com

Weekends are best to be started with brunch. Am I right?! And since lil sis and I have this tradition going on to meet at least once a month for brunch, I thought why not bring you around for the ride or at least tell you all about our favorite spots and the new ones we are about to check out, every month?! Thus, #BrunchQueensVienna, a new blog series all about the two of us brunching in Vienna was born!

Let´s start with our all time favorite: NENI AM NASCHMARKT. A place so cozy and divine, I even took a day off work just to treat lil sis to a belated birthday brunch. We may be biased (read: totally are) and my Instagram feed is proof, but the breakfast and brunch options here are amazing. We always go for the Shakshuka. Creamy onion-tomato-pepper sauce with eggs and herbs and still warm flatbread. Yes! I could just have another. And while I love my own homemade version of this lovely dish, nothing beats Neni´s.

Located smack in the middle of Naschmarkt, it´s a small and cozy hotspot that already branched out to cities like Zurich, Hamburg and Berlin, offers ready-made products like hummus and falafel to enjoy at home as well as crazily good ice-cream plus their outdoor spot Tel Aviv Beach at Donaukanal is crowded during Summer in Vienna. From what I´ve heard it´s amazing for dinner and drinks after work as well, but since we´re creatures of habit, we always come back for more Shakshuka.

The mastermind behind NENI are creator and chef extraordinaire Haya Molcho and her four sons (their names inspired NENI) also just started cooking classes which lil sis and I definitely want to sign up for. Even more Shakshuka for us :)
